Product Description
AV-1 Alarm Check Valve is a split seat ring, rubber lined flap, water flow alarm check valve. It is intended for use in wet sprinkler systems and can be installed either upright or horizontally. When the system receives a steady flow of water equal to one or more sprinkler heads, an electric and/or hydraulic alarm can be automatically activated.
The valve body and hand hole cover are ductile cast iron, the valve seat is bronze, the valve flap of DN65 valve is stainless steel, the valve flap of other valves is ductile cast iron, and all valves use EPDM as the flap lining surface.
AV-1 alarm check valve piping accessories include: system pressure gauge, bypass check valve, main drain valve and alarm test valve. The bypass check valve allows a small, slow flow of water from increased water pressure to enter the system side of the piping without opening the valve flap, reducing the possibility of false alarms.
Model AV-1-300 has a rated working pressure of 2.07Mpa.
