BFV300 New Generation Butterfly Valve
Product Description
The BFV-300 Next Generation Butterfly Valve is part of the Johnson Controls Fire Protection Products solution, and you can trust its commitment to product quality from design, technology, and testing.
The BFV-300 combines many of the features of the current butterfly valves from Johnson Controls Fire Protection Products. As a butterfly valve, the more compact the form factor, the more flexible it is in terms of placement in various applications. It is aesthetically pleasing, simple design means that the installation work is more effective, but also easier for personnel to operate, and long-term use.
Pressure Rating 300psi
■ Full size range from 21/2'' to 10'' (DN65-DN250)
■ Suitable for use in new project installations or replacement of old products in various situations/environments/circumstances/models The unique nut stroke gearbox design greatly reduces the size of the gearbox as well as the overall weight of the valve body.
Compared with the conventional worm gear and sector gear box form of butterfly valve in the market:
■ The BFV-300 geared butterfly valve box size is 50% smaller.
■ The overall weight of the BFV-300 butterfly valve is 40% lighter.
BFV-300 Advantage:
Orifice plug construction aids in simpler and quicker connection to rainshower valves. Clamp connection exclusive.
Streamlined design-Travel nut construction of the gearbox allows for a more compact overall structure, smaller profile, and easier handling and installation.
QR codes are printed on the front of the valve box for quick online access to digital product information.
A full range of size options is available including normally open status monitoring (for use before and after alarm valves); or normally closed status monitoring (for bypass lines).
