Product Description
An electric/pneumatic double interlock preaction system consists of a preaction valve (DV-5 rainshower valve and check valve) and the appropriate piping, fire detection system, air compressor, automatic pneumatic maintenance device, closed sprinkler heads, piping network and water supply control valves. The electric/pneumatic double interlock pre-action system is designed for use in locations where a degree of protection against inadvertent water ingress into the system is required, e.g. in cold stores. It can also be used in political and economic places that are sensitive to water damage loss, such as computer rooms, warehouses for storing valuables and cultural relics, libraries, archives, hotels, exhibition centers and other places. The electric/pneumatic double interlock pre-action system requires the installation of an electric fire detection system, the system pipe network is filled with high air pressure (the requirement of pneumatic valve for pneumatic activation device), so the pre-action valve is equipped with electric activation piping for solenoid valve activation device and dry activation piping for pneumatic valve activation device.
The solenoid valve is opened when the electric detection system or the manual/electrical emergency manual valve opener is actuated. When one or more closed nozzles are actuated, the system network is exhausted and the pneumatic valve is opened. Since the solenoid valve and the pneumatic valve are installed in series on the preaction valve diaphragm chamber drain line, the preaction valve can only be opened if the solenoid valve and the pneumatic valve are open due to both detection system action and closed sprinkler head action. Detection system malfunction or nozzle, pipe network damage does not occur at the same time, the preaction valve will not be opened.
If only one signal is generated, the fire control box only sends an alarm signal.
