TJP series concealed stem gate valve
Product Description
TJP Series Concealed Stem Gate Valves for on/off operation in fire protection systems, Tyco resilient seated gate valves include high strength stainless steel stems, dezincification-resistant copper alloy components, premium elastomers, and quality coating systems. The lightweight ductile iron body weighs less than conventional cast iron valves, making it easier to handle in the field and reducing transportation costs. EPDM rubber-covered valve plate provides a gas-tight sealing rating. Components not designed for inherent corrosion resistance are coated with hot melt bonded epoxy. The gate seal design incorporates a raft and compression mechanism for a low-torque, anti-detachment seal.
Stem seals include five separate annular designs designed to provide a lifetime seal.FM approved and UL listed valves also comply with other international standards including:GB5135.6-2018, BS 5163, EN 1074, EN1171 and ISO 7259.Valves with flanged X-flanged end connections meet the requirements of GB and can be supplied domestically.Valves with flanged X-flanges meet the requirements of GB and can be supplied domestically.Valves with flanged X-flanges meet the requirements of GB and can be supplied domestically. Non-rising stem post indicator gate valves require the use of an indicator post for operation. Valve sizes range from 4 inches to 12 inches (DN100-DN300) with maximum working pressures of UL-300 psi (20,7 bar) and FM/GB-232 psi (16 bar).
