Product Description
The TY-B series of upright/tilting sprinkler heads (K=40,80,115) are standard response-standard coverage decorative sprinkler heads with 5 mm glass bulb diameter for use in light-, medium-, and severe-hazardous locations, commercial establishments (e.g., banks, hotels, shopping malls), refineries, chemical plants, and a variety of other public plants.
The TY-B series of drop sprinkler heads for flush mounting are used for mounting on finished ceilings. It utilizes a two-piece, 10 (1/2" NPT) or 40 (3/4" NPT) recessed trim plate. Insertion adjustment is 12.7 mm or a maximum of 19.1 mm in the flush position with the drop, and the recessed trim plate adjustment reduces the precision required for cutting the short length of connecting nozzle tubing.
Copper alloy printheads exposed to corrosive environments can be protected with an anticorrosive coating to extend the life of the printhead. Although printheads with anti-corrosion coatings have passed the standard corrosion tests carried out by the certification body, the tests do not cover all corrosive environments. Therefore, it is recommended to consult with the end user whether the corrosion protection layer is intended for use in a specific corrosive environment. Consideration should be given to the effects of ambient temperature, chemical concentration, gas/chemical flow rate, and at a minimum, the corrosion characteristics of the chemical on the exposed printhead.
TY-B series sagging intermediate sprinkler heads can be made by combining a TY-B series sagging sprinkler head with an S2 type water retaining disk. Action: The liquid inside the glass bubble is subjected to thermal expansion. When it reaches the nominal action temperature, the expanding liquid causes the glass bubble to burst and the sprinkler head acts to sprinkle water.
