TY-FRB series K=40,80,115 fast response, standard coverage upright / pendent sprinkler head

Product Description

The TY-FRB series, K=40, 80, 115 Upright / Dropping Sprinkler Heads, are fast response - standard coverage decorative sprinkler heads with 3 mm glass bubble diameter for use in light and medium hazardous locations, commercial locations such as banks, hotels, shopping centers etc.

The TY-FRB series of drop sprinkler heads for recessed installation are used for mounting on decorated ceilings. Either a two-piece recessed decorative tray, labeled 10 (1/2" NPT DN15) or 40 (3/4" NPTDN20), with 12.7mm of recessed adjustment or 19.1mm of adjustment in the flush position with the drop, or a two-piece recessed decorative tray, labeled 20 (1/2 " NPT DN15) or 40 (3/4" NPY DN20) with 6.4mm of insertion adjustment or 12.7mm of adjustment in the flush position with the sag; the insertion adjustment reduces the cutting accuracy required for connecting the nozzle stub.

Copper alloy printheads exposed to corrosive environments can be protected with corrosion-resistant coatings to extend the life of the printhead. Although printheads with anti-corrosion coatings have passed the standard corrosion tests carried out by the certification body, the tests do not cover all corrosive environments. Therefore, it is recommended to consult with the end user whether the corrosion protection layer is suitable for the specific corrosive environment. Consideration should be given to the effects of ambient temperature, chemical concentration, gas/chemical flow rate and, at a minimum, the corrosive properties of the chemical on the exposed printhead.

TY-FRB series sagging intermediate sprinkler heads can be made by combining a TY-FRB series sagging sprinkler head with an S2 type retaining disk.

Recessed mounted drop sprinkler heads should only be used with recessed decorative discs labeled 10, 20, 30 or 40. Action: The liquid in the glass bubble expands with heat. When the nominal action temperature is reached, the glass bubble bursts and the sprinkler head sprinkles.
