RF II series K=80 fast/standard response, large coverage hidden pendant sprinkler head (NFPA13 light hazard level)
Product Description
RFII Series Extended Coverage Light Hazard Class (ECLH) Concealed Sag Nozzle K=80 with 3mm glass bubble diameter is equipped with a flat cover disk of the concealed nozzle to give the nozzle a decorative look. This sprinkler head is the best choice for architecturally sensitive areas such as hotel porches, office buildings, churches and restaurants.
This series of sprinkler heads can be installed in sprinkler systems in accordance with the requirements of the relevant installation standards (e.g. NFPA 13).
The fast response thermal sensitivity of the RFII series of sprinkler heads (TY3532) provides quick response extended coverage (QREC) spraying on extended coverage surfaces (up to 5.5mm x 5.5mm).
The product consists of a nozzle, a detachable disk, and a disposable plastic protective cap.
The detachable decorative disk has a vertical adjustment of 12.7mm, which reduces the need for precision cutting of the short tube connecting the nozzle.
The RFII series nozzles are shipped with disposable plastic caps to protect the nozzles during renovation. Lightly press the roof decoration material towards the tip of the protective cap to mark the center of the drilled hole on the decoration material. After the roof decoration is completed, remove the protective cap and install the cover plate assembly.
ACTION: After the fire, the cover disk is heated, the three solder joints welded by the fusible alloy melt, the cover disk falls off, and the splash disk on the guide pin drops down to the working position. The liquid in the glass bubble is subjected to thermal expansion. When the nominal operating temperature is reached, the glass bubble bursts and the nozzle sprinkles.
RFII Series Concealed Drop Spray Heads are only certified with RFII Series Concealed Cover Plates that have a metal finish or white paint finish.
NOTE: RFII Series spray heads should not be used in locations where the air pressure at the top of the ceiling is greater than at the bottom of the ceiling. The downward airflow through the support cups will slow the action time of the pendant head in a fire condition. Fusible alloy solder has very low strength and should be installed with care. Improper stress on the cover disk can crack the solder joints and dislodge the cover disk.
