ESFR-1 K14 (imperial) early suppression fast response droop sprinkler head

Product Description

The ESFR-1 is a fast response early suppression nozzle (K=202) with particular advantages for protecting high bins without the need for in-shelf nozzles.

The ESFR-1 nozzle is designed to protect large quantities of laminating or non-laminating general materials, including non-foamed plastics in cardboard boxes, up to a maximum stack height of 10.7m. It is also used for protection of cylindrical packaged paper warehouses and rubber tire warehouses.

ESFR-1 nozzles are certified by UL and C-UL to the "Early Suppression Fast Response Nozzle" standard based on the requirements of NFPA 13 or other applicable NFPA standards, with a maximum headroom of 12.2m.

ESFR-1 (SIN TY6226) nozzles are certified by FM to "Fast Response Early Suppression Nozzles" based on the requirements of the FM Loss of Loss Data Sheet and have a maximum headroom of 13.7m.

Action: The fusible link assembly consists of two equal lengths connected by a fusible alloy weld. When the action temperature is reached, the solder joints fuse and the two equal length connecting rods separate, activating the sprinkler head to sprinkle water.

Based on new fire extinguishing tests that are constantly being carried out, the application of the ESFR-1 sprinkler head is progressively exceeding the current approved limits. ESFR-1 sprinkler heads are special sprinkler heads with special requirements for building construction, obstructions, hydraulic calculations and installation.
