Product Description

The ESFR-17 upright sprinkler head (see Figure 1) is an early suppression, fast response sprinkler head (K=242) that has particular advantages for protecting high palletized warehouses without the need for in-shelf sprinklers.

The ESFR-17 upright sprinkler head is mainly used to protect most common materials with or without lamination, including non-foamed plastics packaged in cardboard boxes at a stack height of 9.1 m and a roof height of 10.7 m. It is also used to protect paper warehouses and rubber tire warehouses with cylindrical packaging at a stack height and a roof height of 7.6 m. The ESFR-17 upright sprinkler head can be used to protect paper warehouses and rubber tire warehouses at a stack height and roof height of 10.7 m. The ESFR-17 upright sprinkler head can be used to protect paper warehouses and rubber tire warehouses with cylinder packaging at a stack height and roof height of 10.7 m. The distance between the centerline of the heat element of the ESFR-17 upright sprinkler head and the roof panel is 305mm, and the distance between the centerline of the heat element and the roof panel is 102mm.

ESFR-17 upright sprinkler head is easier to install than ESFR K14 and ESFR K25 pendant sprinkler head, which can better meet the requirement of the distance of the sprinkler head from the roof panel, and at the same time, the requirement of the obstruction of the sprinkler head spraying water is also lower than that of the latter.

ESFR-17 Upright Sprinkler Heads must be installed and maintained in accordance with the datasheet, NFPA standards, and FM requirements. Improper installation and maintenance can reduce the fire suppression performance of the sprinkler head or even damage the sprinkler head.

Action: A fusible link assembly consists of two equal lengths connected by a thin layer of solder. When the action temperature is reached, the solder joints fuse and the two equal lengths separate, activating the sprinkler head to sprinkle.
