ESFR-25 K25 (F) Early Suppression Fast Response Downdraft Sprinkler Heads
Product Description
The ESFR-25 downdraught sprinkler head (see Figure 1) is an early suppression, fast response sprinkler head (K=363) with particular advantages for protecting high stacked warehouses without the need for in-shelf sprinklers.
The ESFR-25 downward-facing nozzle is primarily used to protect most common materials, both film-encapsulated and non-film-encapsulated, including non-styrofoam plastics packed in cardboard boxes up to a maximum stacking height of 12.2 m. It can also be used to protect paper warehouses and rubber tire warehouses that are packaged in cylinders.
The ESFR-25 downdraught sprinkler head is certified by UL and C-UL under the "Fast Response Early Suppression Sprinkler Heads" standard based on the requirements of NFPA 13 or other applicable NFPA standards and is suitable for use with a maximum clear height of 13.7 m. The ESFR-25 Downdraught Sprinkler Head is designed for use in a wide variety of applications.
ESFR-25 Sagging Sprinkler Heads are certified by FM to "Fast Response Early Suppression Sprinkler Heads" in accordance with the requirements of the FM Loss Prevention Data Sheet and have a maximum headroom of 13.7m.
Action: The fusible link assembly consists of two equal lengths connected by a thin layer of solder. When the action temperature is reached, the solder joints fuse and the two equal links separate, activating the sprinkler head to sprinkle water.
The application of the ESFR-25 downdraught sprinkler head is progressively exceeding the limits of the current approved range, based on new fire extinguishing tests that are constantly being carried out. ESFR-25 sprinkler heads are special sprinkler heads, which have special requirements with regard to the building structure, obstructions, hydraulic calculations and installation.
