EC-HSW Series K=115 Fast/Standard Response Large Coverage Horizontal Sidewall Sprinkler
Product Description
EC-HSW Series, K=115 Large Coverage Horizontal Sidewall Sprinkler Nozzle is a large coverage, decorative sprinkler nozzle with a glass bubble diameter of 3mm, which is used for automatic sprinkler systems designed using the hydraulic calculation method in light- and medium-hazardous I situations, such as churches, restaurant seating areas, hotels, educational facilities, offices, etc. The maximum coverage is up to 4.9m x 7.3m, which is installed on the wall or beam side below a flat roof. Its maximum coverage is up to 4.9m x 7.3m, and this sprinkler head is installed on the wall or beam side below the flat roof. Horizontal sidewall sprinkler heads are often used in place of sagging or upright sprinkler heads when it is not desirable to have piping running across the roof from an aesthetic or structural point of view.
The quick-response thermal sensitivity of the EC-HSW series, 3mm glass bubble nozzles provides quick-response extended coverage (QREC) spraying on a wide range of large coverages listed in Tables B or C. The EC-HSW series, 3mm glass bubble nozzles are also available in a wide range of sizes and sizes.
Flush mounted EC-HSW series large coverage horizontal sidewall sprinklers are available with either a two-piece, 40 (3/4" NPT DN20) recessed trim disk with a 12.7mm recessed trim adjustment, which reduces the precision of the cut required to connect the sprinkler head stubs.
Copper alloy nozzles exposed to corrosive environments can be protected with a corrosion-resistant coating to extend nozzle life. Although printheads with anti-corrosion coatings have passed standard agency corrosion tests, the tests do not cover all corrosive environments. Therefore, it is recommended to consult with the end user whether the corrosion protection layer is suitable for the specific corrosive environment. Consideration should be given to the effects of ambient temperature, chemical concentration, gas/chemical flow rate and, as a minimum, the corrosive properties of the chemical on the exposed sprinkler head.
Only recessed trim trays, labeled 40, may be used for recessed mounted downdraft spray heads.
Action: The liquid in the glass bubble expands by heat. When the nominal action temperature is reached, the glass bubble bursts and the sprinkler head acts to sprinkle.
