Utilizing new IP network technology to upgrade system functions and meet the needs of distributed applications

The Bosch PAVIRO digital public broadcasting system has recently completed a software and hardware upgrade, further enhancing the system's application range. Now with the help of IP technology, PAVIRO can provide a more flexible, reliable, secure, excellent sound quality, low latency system solution that is no longer limited by physical distance and space. Integrators can directly utilize the existing networks in building facilities, and the use of IP technology can also help to quickly complete installation and reduce construction costs. In addition, PAVIRO can be interconnected with other devices (such as PC or laptop) through IP communication protocol, and efficient remote control, diagnosis and maintenance can be achieved through the Internet.

The PAVIRO digital public broadcasting system achieves IP function expansion through Bosch's newly released Dante network module (OM-1). A 16 channel Dante audio network can be created between various PAVIRO control hosts. This means that users can interconnect up to four PAVIRO control hosts to form a larger scale distributed public broadcasting system. At the same time, this can greatly reduce the use of audio transmission cables and speaker cables for customers, thereby saving system expenses. Through network expansion, the PAVIRO Paiwei Public Broadcasting System can support up to 984 partitions with a total power of 164000 W. Networked distribution enables the PAVIRO system to easily meet customer needs even when the design of the project changes and the control range of the broadcasting system must be expanded to a larger area. In addition, PAVIRO's IP solution provides redundant audio channels, and the audio and control signals are backed up to each other in the network. In emergency situations, even if the control signal is lost, all audio channels are still guaranteed to be used for emergency broadcast playback.

The PAVIRO digital public broadcasting system can meet the strict requirements of emergency evacuation systems and has obtained CCCF certification in China and EN54-16 certification in the European Union. This system upgrade has added features such as automatic recording of emergency broadcasts for at least 30 minutes. At the same time, multiple acoustic indicators of PAVIRO's system have also reached the level of professional audio systems.
