How to recycle and dispose of scrapped fire extinguishing agents from fire alarm system manufacturers
Extinguishing agents refer to substances that can effectively destroy combustion conditions and stop combustion, including water, foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide, smoke extinguishing agents, etc. In general, fire extinguishing agents containing chemical substances have varying degrees of impact on the environment. When repairing or scrapping fire extinguishers, in order to avoid environmental pollution caused by fire extinguishing agents, how should we classify, recover and dispose of the removed fire extinguishing agents. Now let me tell you from the manufacturer of the fire alarm system
1. The requirements for the recycling and treatment of dry powder fire extinguishing agents are as follows:
(1) The remaining fire extinguishing agent removed from the sprayed dry powder fire extinguisher should be recycled and stored separately as ABC dry powder and BC dry powder fire extinguishing agents, and pollution should be prevented when two different types of fire extinguishing agents are mixed. This type of fire extinguishing agent should not be used for refilling.
(2) The extinguishing agent removed from dry powder fire extinguishers that have never been sprayed should be recycled separately according to the composition of the extinguishing agent indicated on the nameplate of the fire extinguisher. After inspection, if the main component content, moisture content, moisture absorption rate, anti caking (penetration) and water repellency of the dry powder fire extinguishing agent meet the relevant fire extinguishing agent standards, and there are no foreign impurities, it can be used for refilling. Inspection records should be maintained. Fire extinguishing agents that do not meet the requirements should be recycled and stored according to the requirements of (1).
(3) Recycled and stored dry powder fire extinguishing agents that cannot be used for refilling should be sent to production enterprises capable of handling dry powder fire extinguishing agents for auxiliary material processing and reuse, or sent to relevant environmental protection departments for processing.
2. The extinguishing agent inside the 1211 and 1301 fire extinguishers should be recycled and disposed of according to the relevant national recycling rules before disassembly, and records should be kept.
3. The extinguishing agent removed from the water-based fire extinguisher should be disposed of in accordance with environmental requirements.

4. The extinguishing agent inside the clean gas fire extinguisher should be disposed of in accordance with environmental protection requirements. When used for recycling and reuse, purity and moisture content should be tested. After meeting the relevant fire extinguishing agent standards, it can be used for refilling. Inspection records should be maintained.
5. The extinguishing agent inside the carbon dioxide fire extinguisher should be disposed of in accordance with environmental protection requirements. When used for recycling and reuse, purity and moisture content should be tested. After meeting the relevant fire extinguishing agent standards, it can be used for refilling. Inspection records should be maintained.
