Daily maintenance of fire alarm system
1、 Conditions to be met before the fire alarm system is put into operation
1. The unit using the fire alarm system should have a dedicated person who has undergone specialized training and passed the exam to be responsible for the management, operation, and maintenance of the system. When the system is updated, it is necessary to retrain the operation and maintenance personnel to familiarize them with and master the working principles and operating procedures of the new system before they can take up their posts. Operators should maintain relative stability.
2. When the fire alarm system is officially put into use, the following documents and materials should be available:
(1) System completion drawings and technical data of equipment.
(2) Operating procedures.
(3) Duty officer responsibilities.
(4) Duty records and usage charts.
3. A technical file for the fire alarm system should be established, mainly including system design drawings, technical data, and various technical data, regulations, records, etc. related to system construction, commissioning, acceptance, operation and maintenance.
4. The fire alarm system should maintain continuous and normal operation. It should not be interrupted arbitrarily to avoid serious consequences.
2、 Save the continuous operation records of the equipment
1. Strictly monitor the operation status of equipment, promptly and accurately handle alarms according to prescribed procedures, keep various records, and report major situations in a timely manner.
2. Daily duty records must be truthfully filled out.
(1) Record the complete content, track and record the processing process until the faulty equipment is intact.
(2) Record time continuously.
(3) Recording is convenient for archiving.
3. Properly keep the system completion plan, technical data of equipment (such as product manuals), quarterly and annual inspection registration forms, and duty records.
3、 Firefighting equipment must be regularly inspected and tested
1. The system must be managed by a dedicated person, and the equipment maintenance department and responsible person must be implemented.
2. The fire protection system must undergo regular comprehensive inspections, smoke detectors should undergo regular smoke adding tests, and important linkage equipment such as fire water pumps, smoke exhaust fans, and fire rolling shutter doors should undergo regular start-up tests. The above inspection results should be well recorded.
3. Conduct 1-2 charging and discharging tests on the backup power supply every quarter.
4、 Regularly clean the photoelectric smoke detector
After using the photoelectric smoke detector for a period of time, a large amount of dust will accumulate in the internal maze, affecting the normal operation of the detector, manifested as the detector reporting dust faults or false alarms. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly clean the dust according to the application environment. Due to the fact that detectors are precision electronic devices, the dust removal process must strictly follow the following procedures:
1. Steps for removing dust from the maze
(1) Remove the upper cover and body of the maze from the infrared tube seat of the maze, and gently wipe the bottom and sides inside the upper cover of the maze with a damp black cloth, focusing on the bottom. The bottom should be completely exposed in black.
(2) Gently wipe or blow off the edges, dust, and fibers of the infrared tube holder optical path with a damp cloth.
(3) Assemble the maze and install the upper cover.
2. Precautions for removing dust from the maze
(1) The wet cloth used to remove dust should have a certain degree of water absorption and not easily shed fibers. The maze after cleaning should not contain water or fibers. The detector indicator light should be exposed on the top cover, and the insect proof net should be firm.
(2) The maze must be installed back into the original detector.
(3) Reinstall the detector, the smoke detector should sound an alarm, and the indicator light should be on. After the smoke has dissipated, clear the fire alarm and the detector should be able to function normally.
5、 Take the correct handling procedure when the controller reports a fire alarm
1. After receiving the alarm signal, immediately carry communication tools such as walkie talkies and jack phones to quickly reach the location of the alarm point for confirmation.
2. If no fire occurs, the on-site environment should be carefully inspected, the cause of the alarm should be analyzed, and corresponding improvement measures should be taken. After handling, records should be carefully kept.
3. If a fire does occur, communication tools should be used immediately to provide feedback to the fire control room, and on-site firefighting equipment should be used for firefighting.
4. The check-in personnel in the fire control room will activate the relevant fire-fighting equipment according to the fire situation, notify relevant personnel to go to the scene to extinguish the fire, report to the unit's on duty leader, and call 119 to report to the fire brigade.
5. After the situation is resolved, restore the normal operation of various fire-fighting equipment.
The on duty personnel must be serious and responsible, and every abnormal situation that occurs on the controller should be taken seriously. They should handle it carefully according to the above procedures and record the entire processing process in detail. They must not be careless or negligent
