Maintenance of Siemens fire alarm system
The maintenance of Siemens fire alarm system is divided into daily inspection, monthly inspection, and annual inspection. The following are the daily, monthly, and year-end methods for Siemens fire alarm systems. Siemens Fire Alarm System Daily Maintenance:
1. Daily functional inspection of fire alarm controllers should be conducted to check for any abnormalities, and a daily inspection registration form should be filled out. a) Press the self check button to allow the alarm controller to perform a self check. b) Then press the mute button to eliminate the sound from the controller. Monthly maintenance of Siemens fire alarm system;
2. Monthly inspection and maintenance, and record the inspection content. a) Complete all daily inspection and maintenance tasks; b) The main working voltage test of the controller; c) Whether the on-site smoke and temperature detectors have good contact with the base, and whether the appearance is clean and intact;
d) Randomly select no less than 5% of smoke detectors, and check if the alarm is correct after spraying smoke; e) Manual alarm button, check for secure installation, damage, and loss; f) Choose any two manual alarm buttons to simulate an alarm and test whether the alarm function is normal. Annual maintenance of Siemens fire alarm system:
3. Annual inspection and testing
The functions of the fire automatic alarm system should be inspected and tested annually (and an annual inspection registration form should be filled out).
(1) Use a dedicated smoke (heating) tester to inspect and test all installed detectors.
(2) Test whether the sound and light display of the fire alarm device is normal. In actual operational testing, all tests can be conducted at once, or partial tests can be conducted. But proper arrangements must be made before the experiment to prevent unnecessary panic or chaos.
(3) Perform 1-2 charging and discharging tests on the backup power supply, and perform 1-3 automatic switching tests on the backup power supply of the main power supply to check if its function is normal. Specific test method: Cut off the main power supply and check if it automatically switches to the backup power supply. Check if the backup power indicator light is on. After 4 hours, restore the main power supply and check if it automatically switches. Also, check if the backup power supply is charging properly.
(4) A system with linkage control function should automatically or manually check whether the control display function of the following fire control equipment is normal.
(5) Fire communication equipment should undergo communication tests between the fire control room and all intercom telephones set up, including telephone jack communication tests. The communication should be smooth and the voice should be clear.
(6) Conduct a mandatory non fire power supply function test.
(7) Check if the position of the detector, manual alarm button, and indicator device is accurate, and if there are any omissions, detachment, or loss.
(8) Clean and remove dust from fire alarm control cabinets, linkage control cabinets, etc. The circuit is loose and should be tightened. Check the self check, noise reduction, and reset functions, as well as switch between the main power supply and backup power supply, and perform alarm checks.
