The disaster alarm controller is the core component of the fire automatic alarm system, which can provide power to on-site equipment. The controller mainly has the following functions:
1. Used to receive fire signals and activate fire alarm devices, and can be used to indicate the location of the fire and record relevant information.
2. The fire alarm signal can be activated through the fire alarm sending device, or the automatic fire extinguishing equipment and fire linkage control equipment can be activated through the automatic fire extinguishing control device.
3. The correct operation of the automatic monitoring system and the provision of sound and light alarms for specific faults.
Equipment may experience some malfunctions during operation, and disaster alarm controllers are no exception. The faults of disaster alarm controllers can generally be divided into two categories: one is the faults caused by internal components of the controller, such as main and backup power faults, bus faults, etc; Another type is on-site equipment failure, such as detector failure, module failure, etc. When a fault occurs, the "mute" button can be pressed to terminate the fault alarm sound.
1. If the main power loses power, use backup power supply. The backup power in a fully charged state can maintain the controller entering backup power supply mode until the backup power is automatically protected; After automatic protection of backup power, to prompt the user that the fire alarm system E is turned off, the controller will sound a fault sound (as required by GB4717-2005); After using backup power supply, it is necessary to restore the main power supply and charge the battery as soon as possible to prevent battery damage.
2. If the system malfunctions, it should be repaired in a timely manner. If it needs to be shut down, detailed records should be kept.
3. If it is an on-site equipment failure, it should be repaired in a timely manner. If the fault cannot be eliminated in a timely manner due to special reasons, the equipment should be temporarily shielded from the system using the equipment shielding function provided by the system. After the fault is eliminated, the equipment can be restored using the unshielding function.
