Siemens Fire Alarm Button Usage Explanation
Manual fire alarm button is a type of equipment in the fire alarm system. When a fire occurs in a building and the fire detector does not detect the fire, personnel manually press the manual fire alarm button to report the fire signal and report the fire alarm to the fire control room of the building.
Under normal circumstances, when the manual fire alarm button triggers an alarm, the probability of a fire occurring is much higher than that of a fire detector, and there is almost no possibility of false alarms (children are curious to operate). Because the triggering condition of the manual fire alarm button is that the button must be manually pressed to activate the component alarm; The alarm button has a red alarm confirmation light, which activates the action of the component. The alarm confirmation light lights up and remains in the alarm state until it is reset. The shape of the alarm button is square and rectangular, with a color of red (it is in a flashing state under normal working conditions. If it does not flash, it indicates that the equipment is damaged; if all the equipment in the venue does not light up, it indicates that the fire protection system has been deactivated, and you can call 96119 to report it);
1. Activate alarm
Press the manual alarm button for 3-5 seconds (not exceeding 10 seconds), and the fire alarm confirmation light on the manual alarm button will light up. This status light indicates that the fire alarm controller has received the fire alarm signal and confirmed the on-site location.
2. Verify fire
The control room duty personnel should immediately go to the site to confirm the fire situation; There are generally three forms of alarm buttons: suction cup reset type, key reset type, and organic glass replacement reset type.
3. Setting requirements
The manual fire alarm button should be located in a prominent and easy to operate location. When installed using wall mounted methods, the bottom edge should be at a height of 1.3m~1.5m from the ground, and there should be clear markings.
4. Set position
Each fire compartment should be equipped with at least one manual fire alarm button. The walking distance from any location within a fire compartment to adjacent manual fire alarm buttons should not exceed 30 meters. Manual fire alarm buttons should be installed at evacuation routes, entrances and exits, and evacuation stairs. The manual fire alarm button installed on the train should be located at the entrance and middle of each carriage.
5. What consequences will occur after the alarm
If the controller is in automatic operation, the sound and light alarm, fire broadcast, fire shutter, smoke exhaust system and other equipment will act, and non fire elevators will stop running, cutting off non fire areas in the area. Therefore, do not move unless it is an alarm;
6. Daily maintenance
The management department should regularly conduct performance tests on manual fire alarm buttons, ensuring timely and accurate alarm positions; The identification is intact and undamaged.
