Installation and linkage debugging of fire alarm system
With the accelerating pace of urbanization and the rapid development of modern social economy, the demand for housing construction by the population is also increasing. Therefore, how to ensure the safety of residents' lives and property has become the primary issue. Therefore, fire protection is a very important issue that needs to be taken seriously for every building. The safety, stability, and adequacy of the power supply system for firefighting electrical equipment are directly related to whether the firefighting equipment can be used in a timely and effective manner. This power supply system must be carefully studied and debugged on the line. The installation of firefighting electrical equipment is of great significance to the electrical equipment system, which can effectively ensure the safety performance and reliability of the electrical equipment system. Installing the power supply system for fire protection equipment is a very important task, so installation personnel and later debugging personnel must attach great importance to this project. Before carrying out installation and debugging work, rigorous technical exchanges must be carried out, and the construction plan must be continuously checked for deficiencies, improved and revised. Under the supervision of technical personnel with high professional knowledge and literacy, the installation and debugging of the power supply system for fire protection equipment must be carried out. This can not only reduce the occurrence of safety accidents, but also fully guarantee the working performance of various fire electrical equipment, which can more efficiently ensure the safety of residents and property in the event of a fire.
1、 Installation and commissioning of fire alarm system
When installing and debugging the fire alarm system, we generally use two types of alarms: centralized controllers and regional alarm controllers. Both types of alarms can be further divided into wall mounted alarms, floor mounted (often referred to as cabinet mounted) alarms, and desktop (piano mounted) alarms. Let's first take a look at wall mounted alarms. When installing wall mounted alarms, the alarm should be installed on the wall or a hole should be made in the wall and placed in a concealed box inside the wall. It is worth noting that this wall mounted alarm must be installed at a height greater than 1.5 meters from the ground, and the operating distance from the front should also be greater than 1.2 meters, and the distance from other objects should also be greater than 0.5 meters. Next, let's take a look at the installation of the falling ground alarm. The installation method of a floor mounted alarm is to use steel bars with slots, similar to home screens, and use channel steel or cement platforms as the foundation for the floor mounted alarm. Finally, let's take a look at the desktop alarm. Desktop alarms are usually installed on a table, and during installation, we need to send all relevant circuits to the terminal box before we can proceed to the desktop fire alarm. These three different types of alarm controllers with different structures and forms are used in different engineering projects, and their effects are also not the same. The system debugging of several different forms and scales of fire alarm systems mentioned earlier was carried out in the disaster area after the completion of the entire building construction. Before installing the fire alarm system, it is necessary to conduct a visual inspection of these alarms of different scales. After confirming that there is no damage to the appearance and that the performance of the equipment is tested and confirmed to be correct, the controller installation and later debugging should be carried out. Another thing worth noting is that before the final debugging, the circuit should be wired, and all aspects of the equipment grounding circuit should be strictly checked according to the previously designed circuit drawings to prevent damage to the fire alarm or loss of performance. Then, the fire alarm system can be debugged.
2、 Installation and debugging of linkage modules
The linkage control module is a device that lies between the controlled equipment and the control system. Due to contact issues in the production of fire electrical equipment by some manufacturers, it is not possible to directly control these fire electrical equipment to start or stop them immediately. Therefore, module linkage control is needed to control these fire electrical equipment at this time.
And the linkage control module also plays a very good role in isolating strong and weak currents. The installation of the linkage module is very flexible. It can be installed together with the electrical control module and can also be installed in the control box of the electrical fire-fighting equipment. This linkage module itself can provide its own action feedback signal, providing various contacts such as starting contacts, two sets of parallel opening contacts, normally open contacts, normally closed contacts, etc. It can also use different contacts for different controls according to the actual needs of electrical fire protection equipment to achieve different effects in practical life. After the installation of the control module is completed, we need to continue with the later debugging work of the fire control equipment. For example, in real life, when a floor catches fire, there is a common fire detector and a manual fire alarm button, or there are various types of fire alarms on that floor. When two or more fire alarms sound, we can use the linkage module to turn on the exhaust fans of the fire layer, as well as the exhaust fans of the upper and lower layers of the layer. If the layer also has a water spray alarm, we can start the water pump to spray water on the fire layer to reduce the losses caused by the fire. And when a fire occurs, the entire company can be broadcasted through the linkage module to accelerate the pace of fire rescue and minimize casualties and property damage as much as possible. It is worth noting that the elevator must be controlled through the linkage module to prevent more casualties caused by people using the elevator in the event of a fire. Therefore, the installation and debugging of the linkage module is particularly important, as it can greatly reduce the casualties and property losses caused by a fire.
3、 Installation of fire detectors
Finally, let's analyze the installation of fire detectors. Manual fire alarm buttons are usually installed at the entrance or exit of public places, because this place is the easiest for people to find. When a fire occurs, it can also accelerate people's alarm and minimize losses. This type of fire alarm can be installed either concealed or exposed. The general installation height is about 1.5 meters or slightly higher, which is convenient for people to call the alarm. The working principle of a manual fire alarm is that when people press the fire alarm button, this device can transmit the alarm information to the alarm host through a small switch, thereby achieving the purpose of alarm. When installing this manual fire alarm, it is necessary to first perform a check on the alarm, such as using a small wrench provided by the alarm manufacturer to turn it. If a clicking sound can be heard after turning it, it can prove that the alarm is basically functional. After installation, the following tests should be carried out on the alarm: manually press the fire alarm button, and then check if the alarm host has received the alarm message. If the message can be received normally, it means that the alarm can be used normally. Moreover, manual alarms can be divided into alarms with address information and alarms without address information. At this point, we can use the linkage module we just mentioned to link alarms without address information and those with address information, using the same address for alarm, which facilitates the use of alarms and improves utilization efficiency. The installation process of fire electrical equipment is quite complicated, so usually these alarms are installed near the control equipment during installation. It is worth noting that any fire electrical equipment should undergo later inspection and debugging after installation. During testing, it is necessary to check whether the feedback fire alarm information can be received, and then check whether the feedback address information is correct, whether there is any inaccuracy in the address, and whether there is any feedback that causes abnormalities. After debugging these situations accordingly, the alarm can be used correctly.
