1、 According to the principle of combustion, the principle of all fire extinguishing methods is to directly spray the extinguishing agent onto the burning object. Alternatively, the fire extinguishing agent can be sprayed on materials near the fire source to prevent the formation of new fire points due to the thermal radiation of the flame.
1. The principle of cooling fire extinguishing method is to directly spray the extinguishing agent onto the burning object, in order to lower the combustion temperature below the ignition point and stop the combustion. Alternatively, the fire extinguishing agent can be sprayed on materials near the fire source to prevent the formation of new fire points due to the thermal radiation of the flame. Cooling fire extinguishing method is a major method of extinguishing fires, commonly using water and carbon dioxide as extinguishing agents to cool and extinguish fires. Fire extinguishing agents do not participate in chemical reactions during the combustion process during the fire extinguishing process. This method belongs to the physical fire extinguishing method.
2. Isolation and fire extinguishing method
Isolation and fire extinguishing method is to isolate or remove burning materials from surrounding unburned combustible materials, interrupt the supply of combustible materials, and stop combustion due to the lack of combustible materials. The specific methods include:
(1) Remove combustible, flammable, explosive, and combustible materials near the fire source;
(2) Close the valves of combustible gas and liquid pipelines to reduce and prevent the entry of combustible substances into the combustion zone;
(3) Try to block the spread of flammable and combustible liquids;
(4) Dismantle flammable buildings adjacent to the fire source to form a space zone to prevent the spread of the fire.
3. Suffocation fire extinguishing method
The suffocation fire extinguishing method is a fire extinguishing method that prevents air from flowing into the combustion area or dilutes the air with non combustible materials, so that the combustion material does not receive enough oxygen and is extinguished. The specific method is:
(1) Cover combustible materials with non combustible or non combustible materials such as sand, cement, wet burlap bags, and wet cotton quilts;
(2) , spray fog water, dry powder, foam and other extinguishing agents to cover the combustibles;
(3) Containers and equipment that are filled with inert gases such as water vapor or nitrogen, carbon dioxide, etc. in case of fire;
(4) Closed fire buildings, equipment, and holes;
(5) Spray non combustible gases or liquids (such as carbon dioxide, nitrogen, carbon tetrachloride, etc.) into the combustion area or onto the combustion material.
2、 Common knowledge of fire extinguishing
Solid fire shall be put out with water type, foam, ammonium phosphate dry powder and haloalkane type extinguishers first
Liquid fire shall be put out with dry powder, foam, haloalkane and carbon dioxide extinguishers first.
Gas fires should be first extinguished using dry powder, halogenated alkanes, and carbon dioxide fire extinguishers.
Fire caused by charged objects should be first extinguished using halogenated alkanes, carbon dioxide, and dry powder fire extinguishers.
The fire extinguishing equipment for metal fires should be negotiated and resolved by the design department and the local public security fire supervision department. Currently, there is no regular type of fire extinguisher product in China.
