What is a heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing system
The heptafluoropropane (HFC-227ea) fire extinguishing system is an efficient fire extinguishing equipment, and its fire extinguishing agent HFC-227ea is a colorless, odorless, low toxicity, good insulation, and non secondary pollution gas with zero ODP to the atmospheric ozone layer. It is currently one of the alternatives to halogenated alkanes 1211 and 1301. Practical scope: The heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing system is mainly suitable for computer rooms, communication rooms, distribution rooms, oil immersed transformers, self-contained generator rooms, libraries, archives, museums and receipts, cultural relics databases, and other places. It can be used to extinguish electrical fires, liquid fires, melting solid fires, solid surface fires, and gas fires that can cut off the gas source before extinguishing.
Attention: The heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing system cannot be used for fires involving the following substances:
(1) Chemical products and mixtures of oxidants, such as nitrocellulose, sodium nitrate, etc.
(2) Active metals such as potassium, sodium, magnesium, aluminum, uranium, etc.
(3) Metal oxides, such as potassium oxide, sodium oxide, etc.

What are the characteristics of heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing agents?

The heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing agent is non-conductive and does not contain water, and will not cause harm to electrical equipment, magnetic tapes, data, etc. Heptafluoropropane is a colorless and odorless gas with a depletion potential (0DP) of 0 for the ozone layer, which meets the requirements of the Montreal Convention and is an ideal substitute for halon fire extinguishing agents. The minimum design concentration is 7.35% (V/V); The highest concentration of non-toxic reaction (NOAEL) is 9% (V/V), which can be used in human areas.
