Article 26 of the Regulations on Fire Safety Management in Higher Education Institutions (Order No. 28 of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Public Security) stipulates that schools shall conduct fire safety inspections at least once a quarter. The main contents of the inspection include:

1. Fire safety publicity, education, and training;

2. Implementation of fire safety system and responsibility system;

3. The establishment and improvement of fire safety work files;

4. Implementation and recording of unit fire inspections and daily fire inspections;

5. The implementation of fire hazards and their rectification and prevention measures;

6. Fire protection facilities and equipment configuration, as well as their condition and effectiveness;

Article 27 stipulates that school fire safety inspections shall fill out inspection records, and the inspectors, the person in charge of the inspected unit, or relevant personnel shall sign on the inspection records. Article 28 stipulates that all units on campus shall conduct fire prevention inspections at least once a month. The main contents of the inspection include:

1. The situation of fire hazards and their rectification, as well as the implementation of preventive measures;

2. Evacuation routes, evacuation signs, emergency lighting, and safety exits;

3. Fire truck access and fire water source situation;

4. Fire protection facilities, equipment configuration and effectiveness;

5. The setting of fire safety signs and their integrity and effectiveness;

6. Whether there are any violations in the use of fire and electricity;

7. The mastery of fire safety knowledge among key workers and other employees;

8. Management situation of key fire safety units (locations);

9. The implementation of fire and explosion prevention measures for flammable and explosive dangerous goods and places, as well as the fire safety situation of other important materials;

10. The duty situation of the fire (control room) and the operation and recording of facilities and equipment, as well as the implementation and recording of fire inspections. Fire prevention inspections should fill out inspection records. Inspectors and the responsible person of the inspected department should sign on the inspection record.
